How to Connect to the WHU Network

                Connect to the WHU network


                You must register your computer in order to use the WHU network. When you first arrive on campus, connect to the WHU network via either wired or wireless network and launch a web browser. You will be automatically redirected to the school network registration utility, which will guide you through the steps to register your computer. You will need your school ID and PIN to create a network account.

                Connect an ethernet cable from your computer to a data jack in your room and open a web browser. If you see a blank page, go to and follow the steps on that page to register your computer with the network. If the device you wish to connect to the network can't show a webpage, you must manually register it with the network management system. For further assistance, contact the Service Desk at 027-68778177. Note: Personal wireless routers are not allowed on the WHU network

                A WHU network account, in combination with a password, is necessary to access authorized WHU websites, online applications, and many other University IT resources. Your account ID is your school card NO and set the password by yourself.
